Well I’m working from home today. Anyone else? I’m actually working from someone else’s home. Namely, my parents. There should be some kind of special stiped for that, although they do have nicer digs than I.
Here it is, your news (unfinished hotel rooms and roaming dogs not included):
1. Congratulations to our PR team – the Gringas / Ladysandwich! The girls (and Gary and Fed, with help from Florida Robert) won gold in the women’s 200m B Major Finals AND they won their 500m minor final heat. The results can be found here. It appears that everyone had an amazing time and I will continue to be jealous of them. Nice job to everyone. I am very proud!! You guys all had to work together to get those results and you killed it.
Traveling to PR for a dragon boat race is awesome. Coming home with a gold medal is awesomer.
2. Pool Schedule. OMG! Saturday pool practice! You heard it here first: We’ll be at the pool this Thursday, Feb. 6 and Saturday, Feb. 8. See you there!
3. Team Meeting: Saturday, February 15 at 4:15pm, the Asgard in Cambridge. The team will feed you snacks. You buy everything else and contribute to our discussion in a meaningful way. Then your Saturday tasks are complete and you can go home and be a total slob for the rest of the night.
